I just finished my last Rugby training camp, in preparation for our competition in Argentina at the end of October. Traveling is always an adventure, especially coast to coast. It was an 18hr day going from San Jose to Birmingham. A 2hr delay in San Jose throws all my travel connections off.
We had 9hr days on Friday, Saturday and just a morning session on Sunday before getting back on a plane to head west to Paso Robles. The team looks ready to bring back a gold medal and keep USA Rugby ranked #1 in the world! Now it is important to maintain my training at home, so that I am in my best shape for the tournament. This team has worked very hard since last December and just wants to compete and see the results of all the dedication that has been directed towards this event. I will write again once I am in Argentina and update how traveling was, where we are staying and how the venue is. Take care, Brent
